Introducing: Ksenia Schnaider aesthetic collection
For Spring/Summer 2016, Ksenia Schnaider moves away from the vibrant aesthetic that dominated the past two seasons and returns to a neutral palette of black, white, nude and grey.
The popular pixelated print is still seen in a number of the pieces, however, toned down to a simple black and white print. Light, luxurious silk blouses, dresses, skirts and trousers dominate the collection, and day-to-night glamour never felt so evident.
Midi and maxi cuts ensure effortless appeal, regardless of the weather, while shorter pieces, including tailored silk shorts and cotton mini skirts, will look superb when we know the hot weather is here to stay.
In addition to the pixelated print, buttons are a staple detail throughout this collection - adorned across midi-length skirts and dresses to contrast the black or white cotton or silk, and of course on button-down tops which are suitable for both work and play.
One of our favorite pieces in this collection, which introduces something we haven't seen before, is the transparent bomber jacket, which has silk sleeves and features a see-through, quilted body with white feathers trapped between the fabric for an interesting detail that becomes most apparent when viewed up close.
Luxurious, tailored and perfect for the spring and summer season - with light fabrics second to none - this is a collection that will play on our minds for months to come (right until we get our hands on one of those beautiful dresses!).
