A Smooth Dynamic
Tamuna Ingorokva’s Spring/Summer 2016 designs are as smooth as the materials that compose the collection. She stuck with her trademark geometric and minimalist designs for this collection, and this season brought a classy combination of black, white, beige and silver to the runway.
Models boast a work appropriate demeanor with practical yet stylish shoes, and their hairstyles are as slick as their outfits—every piece within this collection can seamlessly transition from work to a night out. From pantsuits to blouses and jackets to dresses, every piece gracefully elongates its wearers with the long lines incorporated in each design.
The fine stitching and slits between the different colors assists the structure of the outfits, and this color blocking gives the collection a feeling of continuous flow. These emulate the individuality and femininity that the designs aimed to highlight, and the distinct silhouettes of every outfit help perfectly capture the collection’s dynamic spirit.
While her designs have transformed over time from louder colors and more casual cuts, Ingorokva gradually refined her clothes into the chic professional aesthetic it is today, but regardless of how she changed, Ingorokva never abandoned the trademark V-necks that infiltrate every collection. And just like the silky, original designs within this collection, everything is made of smooth, original materials.
