NARCISS Spring Summer 2016

We are thrilled to announce that, for Spring/Summer 2016, we will be introducing one of our first international brands (outside of Ukraine) to ODIVO.

Founded in 2011 by designer, Alise Trautmane – who is currently completing her studies at Parsons The New School for Design (New York) – NARCISS is a young label that aims to "encourage women to be more self-confident" with their classic, edgy and feminine garments.

For Spring/Summer 2016, NARCISS presents a fun, feminine collection, where dresses are adorned with polka dots and ruffles, and an eye for detail is absolutely essential. Ribbon-like accents trace off various pieces – usually at the sleeves. A clash of patterns – dresses featuring polka dots with striped skirts and sheer, pleated layers – sit in harmony with their black and white palette. Contrasting, brightly coloured garments and adornments in various shades of royal blue, yellow, red, orange and green – including light summer dresses, playsuits and vest tops – add a summery pop to the collection, which leaves us dreaming of a stroll down the beach at sunset.

Classic, tailored coats are perfect for the cosmopolitan woman (whether at work or out to play). A-line dresses with an entirely Hawaiian vibe are fun, pretty, and summarise this collection's nautical inspiration (which is emphasised by the addition of small pearls, which subtly adorn a handful of the dresses, tops and jackets).

This collection is an incredibly versatile one, with most pieces working well for everything from a day at the office, to date night, vacation, or a friend's birthday party. Dress the different pieces up or down with heels or flats, and add tights in the evening if it's a little cool. Each garment speaks for itself, however accessories are key to the creation of each ensemble. Included in this collection are large clutch bags with faux fur accents, which are fantastic for evening appeal. Alternatively, add a small shoulder bag with a chain strap, or some statement costume jewellery, to complete the look.
